I’m off to the Final 2 performance show and the finale in Toronto. CTV announced there was a 2% difference between Jaydee and Brian’s votes last Monday night. The race is close – that’s for sure! The new coronation song that both competitors will sing Monday night is “All I Ever Wanted”. I’ll be calling Don, Joanne & the Coach each morning at 7:05 on Lite 96. Take the new poll on this site to decide who you think will win Tuesday night.

Hi Diane–aren’t you the lucky one?!:) The excitement at the theatre must be something! I just wanted to
say that I enjoyed the performances last night–from BOTH of the guys and I think Jake was unnecessarily
cruel to JayDee….while he may not have been as “polished” as Brian he did a great job of his songs. It’s just that Brian
was terrific (despite a couple of off-notes) and would be a better representation as Canadian Idol at this point.
I truly think that it’s just a bit too soon for JayDee–he has the pipes and charisma and will be a star…he just has to find
his own vocal style—-and that is something that comes with life-experience as well. He’s a sweetie and has won the hearts of Canadians across the country…I have a feeling there’s an “artist developmental deal” waiting for him in the wings.
Both of these talented guys will have a career, there’s no doubt in my mind.
Brian’s performances were totally from his heart and passionately delivered….he is so hungry for this you can see him almost ‘taste” it….love his distinctive voice and though I live here in Alberta I voted for him because I think he is ready for the next step—I hope the “system” that is the entertainment industry treats him well and he stands up for himself.
I look forward to the last show of the season tonight…………..will watch to see if you are in the stands with your
“Don Joanne and the Coach” sign………..
OK–I obviously have my opinions…thanks for letting me express them and for listening….:):)
Cheers and applause…
