I don't think Carly Rae was surprised at all that she was leaving. Hopefully she will get a recording contract. I just remember how enthusiastic all the judges were with Theresa in Season 2 about recording and things moved very slowly (and not all that well) for her after. I hope it's different for Carly Rae. Was it me or did Carly Rae seem relieved for it to be over and on to different things? Could it be that she has already been signed to a recording label or at least in talks with recording execs? I hope so---she definitely is unique and would do well with her distinctive vocals and self=awareness. Her performance of "At Seventeen" left a lump in my throat, that's for sure! Well........how lucky are these two guys-Bon Jovi in New York?! Please pinch them--and may they be old enough to truly appreciate the opportunity they're being given and cherish each second...I'd be happy to take one of their places should that not be the case!
